Gazprom Neft says IFRS net profit, output rises in 2017
MOSCOW, Feb 28 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian oil major Gazprom Neft attributable to shareholders rose 26.5% to 253 billion rubles in 2017, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Wednesday.
Revenue increased 18.2% to 2.004 trillion rubles, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 21.6% to 489 billion rubles, and adjusted EBITDA rose 20.8% to 551 billion rubles, it said in a statement.
Capital expenditures decreased 7.2% to 357 billion rubles.
Gazprom Neft increased aggregate hydrocarbon output, including production of joint ventures, by 4.1% on the year to 89.75 million tonnes of oil equivalent due to higher production at the Novoportovskoye, Vostochno-Messoyakhskoye and Prirazlomnoye fields and in Iraq, it said in the statement.
